WE WANT TO ENCHANT THE WORLD
Dur-An-Ki is the first verse of Enheduanna’s poem to the temple of Enlil. Enheduanna was a Sumerian priestess and the first known writer and the temple of Enlil was one of the most important Sumerian temples. It was considered to be the place of creation, where the sky and earth meet after their primordial division. It’s this (re)encounter that we want to bring to our new project: the union between the sky and the earth, the reenchanting of the soul, of relationships. Afterall, as the Orphics used to say, we are all children of the earth and starry sky. Let us then go drink from the waters of the lake of memory and quench our thirst.
